Murray's Home Again is owned and run by Rich and Kim Murray. It was started in 2003 as a home based business. Rich and I would spend our weekends visiting thrift shops, flea markets and yard sales. During the week while Rich was working and the girls were in school, I would sell the treasures we found on Ebay.
In February 2008, Rich was laid off. With a young family to support and a mortgage to pay, we decided to increase our inventory. We hoped that by doing so, we would provide enough income to support the family. .We started attending storage auctions, and were able to fill a box truck for very little. It quickly became overwhelming trying to sell it all out of our home, so we looked into renting a space to set up shop.
On June 3, 2008, we opened on Grove St in downtown Peterborough. The business grew very quickly and at the end of 2009, we were the proud owners of the property located at the corner of routes 101 & 123, formerly known as Tewksbury's. This property offers us all the space we need to sell our inventory and raise our family.
